New Orleans, Louisiana: The Coastal Guard has said that an oil platform that suffered a great explosion two days ago has sunk in the Gulf of Mexico.

The suboficial of the Coastal Guard Katherine McNamara said today Thursday that the Deepwater Horizon had gone apeak. The Coastal Guard continues looking for 11 workers who disappeared after the explosion of the Tuesday.

The platform had been burning from the explosion. Noses of supply had been throwing(launching) water on her(it) to try to control the flames and to prevent the platform from sinking.

Apparently the relatives of 11 missing persons already have been informed that it(he,she) is improbable that they are still alive.
